The standard English keyboard does not have enough symbols to emphasize how pissed I will be if this game turns out to be real. Sonic Team/Sega have just recently redeemed themselves with the Werehog via E3 and now there’s this leaked shot of the next issue of Nintendo Power? I checked the most recent one and looked at the last page. It’s cobalt blue there’s what appears to be a semi-circle outline towards the bottom, almost looking like one of Sonic’s spines. I really hope this is fake. I’m sorry but after Secret Rings I do believe that if Sonic games are going to be released on the Wii they better damned well not be Wii specific. And he has a sword? They should have learned from Shadow the Hedgehog that there shouldn’t be weapons in a Sonic game! Until this is confirmed I refuse to update SIRF’s 7th generation section. I know I recently put “Sonic Next” there but that was from something the Sonic Stadium said and I doubt it was this game, especially since I’m hoping Black Knight is a fake and from what they said at the Stadium it sounds more like the next “canon” game not the next miserable spin off. Wow do I hope this game is a fake. As I said on the front page of ASSC Studios I’ll post the scan from the last issue of the most recent Nintendo Power on Monday. I’ll keep checking Wal-Mart for this one (as I only buy game magazines when a Sonic game is talked about in it). I’ll also be checking out IGN and Gamedaily to see what they say. I mean a random scan on the internet plus a Wikipedia page doesn’t mean anything. We shouldn’t have fear because of Wikiality. But then again it’s Sega and Sonic Team so we always fear for the worse.
